Atlanta Newborn Photographer | Anais

Finally … My new niece has arrived! Anais took her sweet little time coming into this world. She was born 6 days late and ended up being a May baby like her auntie! She was definitely worth the wait though. We couldn’t get enough of this sweet little thing.

Right now this little girl loves to sleep and loves to smile!

Such a happy baby.

During the shoot, granddad stopped by and bought over a pink teddy bear, so it was only right that we include it in the shoot!

This is one of my favorite pics. Mainly because I got my little bro to do something I never thought he’d do. Let me take this pic shirtless! After some convincing from big sis he agreed and we got this fabulous shot. Remember fellas – you don’t have to be ripped to pull off a shot like this!

We even talked April into getting a few pics w/her new baby girl.

Since my little Taurus the bull baby decided not to arrive in April, we had to redo this shot that was taken at their maternity shoot. So glad we did. I need this one framed somewhere!

Dee & April – congrats to you guys on bringing a beautiful new baby girl into this world. I can’t wait to watch her grow and you know we’ll be there to document along the way!

Atlanta Child Photographer | Hannah

One of our favorite things about being photographers is watching families and kids grow. We first photographed Hannah when she was only 2 yrs old. She was our very first (non-family) client and we’ve been photographing her ever since. We were thrilled to see her all grown up now at age 5. She has a BIG personality now and enjoys being a princess AND a ballerina.

Hannah loves her ballet class and was happy to show us a few moves.

Colors + Beautiful Girl = Awesomeness!!

Hannnah was getting ready for her big slumber party that evening, so we were able to get a couple of really cute shots with one of her friends!

Barnsley Gardens Engagement Shoot | Laura and Lee

So excited to finally post this one! This engagement has been a long time in the making. We did a session with Laura and Lee back in 2010 and have been on ring watch ever since! I consider Laura a dear friend and was excited for the opportunity to capture their union!

We met at the beautiful Barnsley Gardens Resorts (aka photographer’s heaven). The mix of ruins and beautiful landscapes made this the perfect place for a southern style engagement shoot. This first image says it all. It’s one of my favs and Laura looks glamourous!

Laura is a fellow pinterest addict and bought along lots of props for us to dig into. We loved these cute “kiss” bottles. So cute!

A message for Lee.

Lee likes his skillet good and greasy. Southern boy all the way.

Towards the end of the shoot we happened to run into this amazing field of wildflowers. No way we could resist that. Laura and Lee were troopers!

Ending w/one final bit of comedy, lol. Going through the frames for these photos was hilarious, but this one topped the cake. Lee’s expression here=priceless.

We are excited to do so many first birthday shoots this year! One year olds are always a blast and we enjoy coming up with different themes for them! The Agard family decided to commemorate Farai’s first birthday by capturing some photos of him and the family.

Dad is a dj so it was only fitting that Farai had a music themed first birthday shoot for this music lovin’ family. He was so adorable.

Big bro joined in on the fun

We wanted to keep big bro for ourselves! Justice also loves music but he loves basketball as well. This kid has the moves AND the looks.. so photo ready.

The JV boys better watch out for him next year w/moves like this!

Dee really wanted to do some shots reading to his “boo” . Big shout out to the nice folks at Charis Books and More for allowing us to shoot in their store!

You never know what you’re going to get while roaming the streets of Atlanta. We were stopped by this street performer who wanted to sing a little song for us. We figured it was a great opportunity for an impromptu jam session.

We’ve been waiting to do this shoot since their family Christmas photos. The Wilkes family (especially dad) are big sports fans and wanted to do a sports themed first birthday shoot for baby Mason. We LOVE when our clients go out all for a shoot and the Wilkes family did just that. The adorable onesies from etsy were the cutest things ever. Baby Mason is growing up quickly and is shaping up to be such a friendly little dude!

First up – baseball… how cute is that outfit?

Now it’s time for his basketball suit – with wrist bands and all..

I’m team Mason all the way!

Okay this outfit was my favorite! He looked so adorable in his little boxing gear. He was way too sweet for this setup though … how could you resist that smile?

Finally, dad slipped into his old college basketball jersey and had one for baby Mason too! Love these shots!

I think dad was more excited about this shoot than anyone else!

Engagement Photographer in Atlanta | Regina and Glen

Hey folks! We have several great shoots to share with you guys over the next few days. First up is this cute couple that got a second chance at love. These two lovebirds couldn’t be happier and absolutely glowed during their entire shoot. We decided to meet up at Marietta Square at the same spot where Glen first proposed!

We love capturing the environment into our shots, but everyone needs a good close-up.

Atlanta First Birthday Party Photographer | Misha

What a wonderful birthday celebration we photographed last weekend! Misha is a lucky one year old! Her parents came up with a fab “photo themed” birthday party for her. Dad loves to take photos of his baby girl throughout the year. We definitely encourage our clients to take photos year round. Kids grow so fast and are changing all the time. Photos help to preserve that memory.

I LOVED the monthly collages they posted on the walls. And that cake? Awesome.

This was one of my favorite photos. Misha just recently learned to walk so she definitely wanted to show her new found independence.

Divas need naps too.

One of my favorite things about this party were the colors and attire. Picture perfect!

I think this one may be one of my favs. Yes folks, they had a clown!

Who happened to have some pretty awesome shoes.

They also allowed us to set up our birthday party photo booths! One of our favorite things to do. So fun!

At the end we went outside for one big group shot! Shout out to A Balloon & Flower Services who created the wonderful balloons and to Rakesh at the Tadka Restaurant for the excellent venue (and REALLY good Indian food!).

Remember this little guy?

Well he’s all grown up now and is still cute as can be! This is why we love what we do! Being able to document someone’s history is amazing. Reg and I talk about how weird it’s going to be to see these kids when they’re all grown. We’ll be able to tell them we remember them from way back when they were in diapers! Anyway, back to Israel..

Israel recently turned one so we captured a few shots of him while he’s in “big boy mode”. That adorable face below just means he can get anything he wants.. yeah I’d be a sucker for that face, lol.

Israel loves basketball (at such an early age)! He has some mean moves for a one year old!

See?

This kid has talent..4real. He was so natural in front of the camera.

We kept shooting even during snack time.. i’m glad we did because he was still in character!

Mom and dad have done a great job with baby Israel and we can’t wait to see him again. He truly made our weekend!
